Calm Before The Storm

In an empty field, I was left to scream,

Left to blow off all my steam.

Pour out all the storm bottled inside,

Let out all the demons that I try so hard to hide.

Finally getting rid of the suffocation I feel all the time was the best part,

I just could not wait to start.

Yet, I found myself calmly and quietly sitting in the middle of the field,

Numb with a blank mind and no further hopes to be healed.
